During the race of humanoid robots, the US is trying to keep up and concentrate on supply of parts now.
A robot-themed rally hit several small stocks at once
While major indices were wrapping up a strong quarter, a very specific group of stocks jumped sharply - the companies that make the sensors, chips, and processors that go inside humanoid robots. Robot sensor makers Ouster, Cognex, and Allegro Microsystems rose 15.6%, 5.9%, and 4.9% respectively in a single session. Edge AI chip maker Ambarella jumped 28%. CEVA and Lattice Semiconductor added 9.6% and 4.2%. These are not household names - they are components suppliers, the businesses that quietly provide the parts that make the headline robots actually work.
